Pastor
Darryl and Lisa Hutcherson
Pastor Darryl and Lisa arrived
in Tacoma, WA from Chicago, IL in June of 2001 to fulfill a vision that God had
given him over 20 years ago. God breathed into Pastor Darryl a vision for
an ethnically diverse Church and ministry - A ministry that would reflect the
heart of God, and included people who would love one another as God commanded,
and would be committed to meeting the needs of the whole person.
Pastor Darryl has been involved
in ministry for over 20 years. He
received his undergraduate training at Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois,
his Graduate training at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA and North
Park Seminary in Chicago, IL. He
was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1993.
The Hutcherson’s have been
married since August of 1992. Both
share a love for ministry and a heart to minister to the needs of others. Lisa’s passion for ministry is for teenage girls, women’s
ministry and building up the body of Christ through the gifts that God has
given. As a couple they have a
particular calling for the enrichment of marriages.

forward with great faith and expectation of what the Lord will accomplish
through Tapestry Covenant Church.
